Comment: I'm not certain of the mythology (Ancient Near East is more my bag) but I believe Amalthea was a Greek goddess whom acted as a wet nurse to a infant Zeus. She is often depicted as a half goat and carries with her an ever full cornucopia from which she distributes food. At least that, thats what I kinda remember from class.
